Hello!
Get to know a little more about what makes me ME and take a glimpse into my future goals!
All About Me
Hi, I’m Tori Johnson, a proud member of the Tohono O’odham Nation and a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Sports Management. I'm currently continuing my education at the University of Arizona, pursuing dual Master of Science degrees in Business Analytics and Marketing.
I’ve always been passionate about sports. Growing up in a big, sports-loving family shaped that early on. Now, I aspire to turn that passion into a meaningful career in the sports industry. I’m especially interested in athlete brand representation, content creation, and sports analysis.
Giving back to my community is at the heart of everything I do. I want to be a resource and role model for Indigenous youth and others navigating their own career journeys. Whether through mentorship, representation, or creating inclusive spaces, I want my work to matter beyond myself.
I’m naturally expressive, driven, and people-oriented. I thrive in dynamic environments and love connecting with others. During undergrad, I was active in student organizations like the American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL) and the Sports Management Association, where I learned the value of leadership, collaboration, and gained a multitude of experiences.
Tori's Commencement Speech
I recently had the honor of doing a land acknowledgement speech at the University of Arizona's Main Commencement ceremony in front of 45,000 people! Not only was this very special to me as a member of the Tohono O'odham nation, but also as a 2025 graduate. Being able to share the importance of the land with my peers and represent my class will always hold a special place in my heart.
Tori's KOLD News Story
I had the opportunity of being featured on KOLD 13 News Tucson as a first-generation graduate from the University of Arizona. In the segment, I shared insights on being a first-gen and into my journey and navigating college without a clear roadmap. I also discussed my desire to giving back to my native community.
